Intimacy

archadianskies:

There was something beautifully intimate about tea cups, and out of all the servingware he was used to handling, tea cups still managed to delight him. They required painstaking skill and dedication to create, needing steady hands and sharp eyes and four firings in the kiln before they were ready for use. After days of work they would be filled with expertly brewed tea, before the customer would gently press their lips to it and kiss the product of artisan labour.

There are the green-eyed Mexicans. The rich blond Mexicans. The Mexicans with the faces of Arab sheiks. The Jewish Mexicans. The big-footed-as-a-German Mexicans. The leftover-French Mexicans. The chaparrito compact Mexicans. The Tarahumara tall-as-a-desert-saguaro Mexicans. The Mediterranean Mexicans. The Mexicans w/Tunisian eyebrows. The negrito Mexicans of the double coasts. The Chinese Mexicans. The curly-haired, freckled-faced, red-headed Mexicans. The Lebanese Mexicans. Look, I don’t know what you’re talking about when you say I don’t look Mexican. I am Mexican.

but how much must men hate women, to see a woman’s difficult or unhealthy or absent relationship with her father

and then sexualize her for that pain?

Common Myths & Misconceptions About Goldfish
by patches a.k.a goldfishgal

This is amazing! Can you make children’s fish care books like this?

Thank you

This is a beautiful post and I wish I could hand deliver it to everyone when I worked at PetCo.

I might end up asking the artist for permission to use this if my Saturday Seminar idea at Pecto is put through…

I actually had a goldfish that lived for nine years and she grew to be about a foot long (thankfully we had a pretty big tank for her to swim around in). She even had a nubby fin like Nemo from “Finding Nemo”, which blew my mind when I saw the film as a kid and was all “hey, that fish has a fin just like my fish!”

i know very few trans people who are actually out to make cis people feel bad for being cis. i know a much larger number of trans people who are out to make cissexist cis people feel bad for being cissexist. there’s a difference.

RANDOM CONDOM INFORMATION FOR YOU

neoliberalismkills:

Erm, seems appropriate since it’s father’s day, so

Trojan actually has a higher level of failing the stress tests with condoms than Durex, so use Durex

if you’re allergic to latex, Skyn is a REALLY GOOD BRAND and one of the only non-latex condom brands commonly sold that have extra large condoms

And if you need really thin condoms that are effective, Kimono is a really good brand

that is all, carry on

one of the most annoying things about me is that i constantly need to be reassured that you haven’t started hating me for some reason
